Waltonchain Participated in China-Brazil Seminar on Innovation in Services and Commerce as a Keynote Speaker
In the afternoon on September 12, 2019, the 1st China-Brazil Seminar on Innovation in Services and Commerce was held in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Four science and technology innovation companies including Huawei (5G) and Waltonchain (Blockchain + the IoT) delivered keynote speeches at the seminar.
Minas Gerais is the second-largest potential consumption market in Brazil with annual consumption up to BRL 44.4 billion (USD 10.9 billion) (IPC estimated data, 2018).
The diversified production in Minas Gerais makes it one of the largest agricultural production states and the fifth-largest production base in Brazil.
Companies and entities established in this state continue to invest in innovation. For instance, they use drones for crop monitoring, apply phytosanitary products and develop precision agriculture. The most prominent crops are coffee, sugar cane, fruits and beans.
Minas Gerais is the coffee production leader in Brazil; it plants and processes 56.4% of the country’s coffee. Minas Gerais has the world’s famous gemstones, including imperial topaz, aquamarine, amethyst, tourmaline, citrine and diamonds.
