Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control visits Waltonchain technical subsidiary Silictec
On October 24, Vice-President of Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control Mr. Xu Qing visited Waltonchain technical subsidiary Silictec. Silictec Chairman of the Board Mr. Mo Bing, General Manager Mr. Liu Cai and CTO Mr. Wei Songjie welcomed the guests and introduced the RFID + Blockchain Traceability Solution. The two sides reached initial cooperation intention.
Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control (Shenzhen Testing Center of Medical Devices) is a statutory scientific research, inspection and testing institution. Its massive operation scope covers inspection of drugs, special food, cosmetics, medical devices, drug packaging, clean area (room) environments, reagent water, etc. Its inspection results are internationally accepted.
The Institute hopes for cooperation with Silictec in aspects of sample management such as sampling process, tamper protection after digitization of test reports, storage, management control and information traceability. The Institute expects to improve the existing workflow with the help of the advanced Blockchain + IoT technology and solutions of Silictec.
Institute representatives learned about RFID + Blockchain industrial traceability solutions. The Institute will obtain a customized solution according to its requirements. In this solution, data monitoring, including video surveillance, is strictly implemented starting from sampling. Video data is hashed every second and uploaded to blockchain. This method allows effective tracing of physical and man-made damage to samples.
