As an important hardware device to support the Waltonchain Fully Operational Mainnet, and an important part in the Waltonchain ecosystem, the self-developed KIRINMINER was introduced on April 24, 2019.
As the presale of the first batch of 200 KIRINMINERs is ongoing, we have received questions regarding the KIRINMINER from our community. We are gathering some of the community’s frequently asked questions and publish them in this medium for easier review by the community members.

Q1: When I receive the miners, can all 3 miners mine to the same address?
A: You can mine with several KIRINMINERs to one blockchain address. The restriction of 1 KIRINMINER per node address and 3 per shipping address is for purchase only.
Q2: Can I use one KIRINMINER to mine for several addresses?
A: It is not possible simultaneously; you can mine to one address at a time.
Q3: Will the one-click WTC Wallet receive an ASIC option?
A: KIRINMINER is a standalone piece of hardware; therefore, WTC Wallet will not have this option.
Q4: Will KIRINMINER be shipped through priority mail? I would never trust my local post offices with this kind of money.
A: We will use DHL to ship KIRINMINER.
Q5: Is a second batch possible? If yes, when?
A: There will be a second batch of KIRINMINER. The exact time, batch size and price are still to be determined according to the sale results of the first batch and other factors.
Q6: What customs category does KIRINMINER belong to? Do you know the exact HS code?
A: Our logistics company will export KIRINMINER from China under the ‘Server’ category. The HS code is country-specific.
Q7: Will the miners be pre-checked before shipping? We can’t afford a return for warranty, time wise.
A: We have checked each KIRINMINER carefully. We already finished the EMC/EMI testing, safety testing, ESD testing, and SBC patching. 100% KIRINMINERs passed X-Ray testing after SMT processing. Also, 100% SBC functional testing was performed.
Q8: What kind of power cord will the unit be shipped with?
A: We will ship the power cord to buyers according to their shipping address. We have power cord types for the below countries:

· Great Britain
· EU
· International

Q9: How loud is it? Will it be suitable to place in my house and let it run 24/7?
A: KIRINMINER is suitable for households and round-the-clock operation. Its noise is low, just 50 dB. But we advise you to consider a separate space for it, as it may not be suitable to place right in your living space.
