Instructions on Transfer of Mainnet WTC and WTA via MetaMask
(updated on June 30, 2020: changed node address to https and added instructions for mobile users)
To add mainnet WTC and WTA support in MetaMask:
1. Install MetaMask extension for your browser or your mobile device: https://metamask.io/
2. Import an address using a 12-word mnemonic phrase or create a new address.
3. Go to network settings.
Browser users need to tap ‘Main Ethereum Network’ at the top of the MetaMask window and select ‘Custom RPC’.
Select ‘Custom RPC’
Mobile users need to tap three bars in the left upper corner or swipe to the right from the left edge — Settings — Networks — Add Network:
4. Enter Waltonchain mainnet node attributes:
Name: WTC
New RPC URL: https://node.waltonchain.pro
ChainID: 15
Symbol: WTC
Press ‘Save’.
5. In Networks, select the recently added WTC.
6. Adding WTA
Browser users: When on WTC network, press ‘Add Token’.
Go to the ‘Custom Token’ tab and enter WTA attributes:
Token Contract Address: 0x668df218d073f413Ed2FCEa0D48CfbFd59C030Ae
Token Symbol: WTA
Decimals: 18 (appears automatically after entering the contract address)
Press ‘Next’ to complete the procedure.
Mobile users: Press ‘ADD TOKENS’ — ‘CUSTOM TOKEN’ — provide the above token details — press ‘ADD TOKEN’.
Now you can view and transfer your mainnet WTC and WTA!
Note: Gas Limit for WTA is 21000. Mainnet WTC coins are collected for gas on Waltonchain network.
