Brief on Waltonchain Source Code Third Party Audit Results
Safety is an area of special attention for the blockchain industry. It has always been one of Waltonchain’s top priorities to protect information and assets of each of our users and customers. We invited cyberspace security experts Knownsec Inc. to conduct a third-party audit of a series of Waltonchain’s applications. The audit was performed from February 27 to March 21, 2019; and recently Knownsec has released the report on its results.
Knownsec security engineers have completed security audit and testing of the following 10 items.
1. Business layer code of the Waltonchain parent chain
2. WTC Wallet PC client
3. WTC Wallet iOS client
4. WTC Wallet Android client
5. SubchainManageContract smart contract
6. Data smart contract
7. PermissionManageContract smart contract
8. Endorsement smart contract
9. TemplateManageContract smart contract
10. Silictec node
According to the final results provided by Knownsec, there are 0 serious-risk code files or functions, 0 high-risk code files or functions, 0 medium-risk code files or functions, and 0 low-risk code files or functions. With these audit results, Knownsec assesses the security level of the source code of the Waltonchain parent chain as SAFE.
