Brief on the 1st Session of Waltonchain Blockchain Salon
On April 28, 2018, the first session of Waltonchain’s Blockchain Salon was successfully held in Shenzhen Bay Tech-Eco Park. The Waltonchain COO Mr. Chen Zhangrong, Director of Operations Mr. Ou Zhunjie, blockchain developer Luo Tianbao (Paul) and WTC Wallet Customer Executive Liu Zehang (Ángel) discussed the future application of blockchain and the IoT with the present WTC community supporters and introduced the functions of the current WTC Wallets.
In the IoT era, the traditional network security methods will continue to exist. Compared to the traditional network security, terminal security needs are more urgent. Terminal security includes not only terminal hardware (chip) security, but also ad hoc network terminal security. After the official launch of Waltonchain Mainnet, the effortless one-click mining WTC Wallet has been well received by our community. Many of our supporters were having questions regarding our Mainnet and wallet. In view of the above reason, the Waltonchain team decided to organize this blockchain salon to share ideas with our supporters.
The salon began as scheduled at 15:00 with the opening speech by Waltonchain COO Mr. Chen Zhangrong who expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Waltonchain supporters. Mr. Chen said “Waltonchain has been a global leader in blockchain + IoT, providing its global partners with the best projects and building up the trustworthy commercial ecosystem covering the globe. Together with our global partners, Waltonchain is facing the tremendous future.”
The Waltonchain moderator Zhai Jin presented Waltonchain projects and the current progress in detail. When the Waltonchain summary was finished, everyone present readily joined the prepared games related to Waltonchain, which brought a cheerful atmosphere. When it came to another topic “Sharing the blockchain knowledge”, as a blockchain technology senior engineer, Paul gave an easy-to-understand explanation of the essence and functions of blockchain. Having consolidated blockchain knowledge and excellent technical capability, he clarified the common confusing problems of the blockchain technology, so everyone present got a deeper understanding of blockchain.
At the end of the salon, the host arranged staff to give the attendees abundant gifts prepared in advance, and led all the attendees to visit Waltonchain’s office and take a photo together. The whole event has a harmonious and friendly atmosphere.
The salon not only deepened the attendees’ understanding of blockchain and WTC, but also provided a platform for communication and sharing, which brought Waltonchain supporters together. In the future, Waltonchain will hold such offline activities regularly to be closer to the supporters, let supporters know more about Waltonchain and develop together!
