Announcement on Waltonchain Mainnet Upgrade at Block No. 221,500
Dear global Waltonchain supporters,
Waltonchain Mainnet will be upgraded on July 17, 2019 (UTC+8). We hereby inform miners to download the updated source code and use the new full-node wallet to continue mining on the upgraded Waltonchain Mainnet.

From block #221,500, miners will be unable to receive mining rewards without the new wallet software.
Please note that KIRINMINER ASIC and KirinPool users are NOT required to do anything for this upgrade.
Updates:
1. Optimized mainnet data transmission to support higher child chain throughput; improved data transmission reliability to meet the demands of the ecosystem with numerous child chains;
2. Adjusted the average mainnet block generation rate to stay within 30 ± 0.5 s.
