Announcement on the WTC Wallet iOS Release
Dear Waltonchain users and supporters around the world,
The WTC Wallet iOS has been officially launched on May 31, 2018.
At present, the WTC Wallet iOS has been fully tested, and Apple App Store approval has entered the final stage. After the approval, users can download it on the Wallet page of our official website. Please DO NOT download the wallet from any other sources!
Please note that before the token swap, DO NOT transfer your ERC20 WTC tokens to the WTC wallet.
The main features of the WTC Wallet iOS:
1. The wallet has a cold wallet function and supports offline usage (users do not need to be online for receiving transactions and creating wallets; still, Internet connection is needed to send transactions). Wallet creation and transactions are directly controlled by the wallet client. Operations like storage on the server and communication do not include private key data. Therefore, we avoid the following risks: a) client data transmission and storage using the server; b) leaving cookies when users visit websites using browsers.
2. The wallet utilizes the multithreading + data buffering processing technology to achieve real-time data display and periodic silent background refresh, providing better user experience.
3. There is a convenient Keystore file backup function (password needed).
4. Users can get up-to-date information on the market and blocks.
5. Users can get the latest information on Waltonchain in a timely manner.
Integrating the functions of cold wallet and access to the latest industry information, WTC Wallet iOS provides users with the most comfortable experience. In the future, Waltonchain will continuously upgrade the wallet functions according to the users’ needs.
