Announcement on Public Mining on the Fully Operational Waltonchain Mainnet
Dear Waltonchain Supporters,
Since its release on April 24, 2019, Waltonchain’s Fully Operational Mainnet has already reached block #40,000 when community mining starts. Waltonchain community miners can start mining with the below updated version of WTC Wallet Windows:

Waltonchain Team is currently in communication with cryptocurrency exchanges regarding token swap details. Please refer to our future announcement on the token swap. Before the swap of ERC-20 $WTC to Mainnet $WTC, Walton Chain Foundation will not conduct a separate verification of GMN/MN status.
Reminder for miners: All the $WTC tokens mined on the Fully Operational Mainnet will be of real value and will be eligible for trading on cryptocurrency exchanges AFTER the token swap. Please be careful and reconfirm any Mainnet $WTC transactions. Please keep your private keys and $WTC assets safe.
With the release of the Fully Operational Mainnet, the block generation rate is adjusted from 1 block per minute to 2 blocks per minute, which increases the efficiency of data handling and uploading.
Timeline for block reward change:
1. Block #40,001 to #100,000: 1 WTC for ALL miners.
2. Block #100,001 to #200,000: 2 WTC for ALL miners.
3. After block #200,001: 2.5+0.5 WTC (normal miners: 2.5 WTC/block; Master Node(*5) miners: 2.5+0.5 WTC/block).
Notes:
1. After block #550,000, WTCT network operation and maintenance will be terminated; the blocks mined thereafter will NOT be rewarded. Waltonchain Team will take a snapshot of all WTCT addresses and perform a miner payout. We ask WTCT Network miners to keep your address and private keys safe.
2. Currently, WTC holders DO NOT need to take any actions regarding their wallets until further notice. Waltonchain will release a separate announcement on the details and time of the Mainnet Token Swap of WTC stored on exchange and personal wallet addresses.
3. For the safety of your WTC assets, please follow Waltonchain’s official Twitter and website for the latest announcements and news. DO NOT trust any information from non-official sources.
4. Waltonchain Team and our community admins will not contact you first in private messages/email regarding any information of your WTC address. Please stay alert to fraud/scam attempts!
5. Master Node (MN) refers to all wallet addresses holding 5,000 WTC or above.
