Recently, due to the influence of Coronavirus epidemic, customers of Waltonchain’s technical supporter Silicon Shenzhen Electronic Technology have had operating difficulties, have become unable to perform contracts normally and slowed the payments. The core services of Silicon Shenzhen Electronic Technology such as IC chips & traceability have been impacted. Based on the above, in order to reduce the operational pressure, the decision-makers of Silictec decided to dissolve the Shenzhen team. Quanzhou Silicon and Xiamen Silicon continue to operate normally.
Waltonchain has already prepared a global layout for decentralized community self-management; the ecosystem has supporters from different regions and industries. The dissolution of Silicon Shenzhen Electronic Technology does not affect Waltonchain and other ecosystem supporters. Waltonchain’s IoT + Blockchain applied solutions, parent-child-chain ecosystem, blockchain traceability system and other key technologies as well as the whole Waltonchain team continue the normal operation; activities and programs released by Waltonchain also continue.
After the assessment of the epidemic impact, Waltonchain operations team has already returned to normal work in the office.
