3rd Session of Waltonchain Blockchain Meetup Held in Guangzhou, Guangdong
After the meetups in Shenzhen and Xiamen, on May 26, 2018, the 3rd Waltonchain meetup was held at Global Metropolitan Plaza in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province. Waltonchain Director of Operations Mr. Ou Yonghao, Freyrchain Director of Operations Mr. Tang Bo, WTC Wallet Customer Executive Mr. Liu Zehang (Ángel) and other team members attended the meetup and shared useful knowledge on blockchain with the present audience.
Waltonchain Director of Operations Mr. Ou Yonghao delivered the meetup opening speech. Mr. Ou warmly welcomed the present supporters and friends and then introduced the main speaker of this meetup Ms. Zhai Jin, Freyrchain Director of Operations Mr. Tang Bo and WTC Wallet Customer Executive Ángel.
Afterwards, the moderator Ms. Zhai Jin detailed the prospects of the current blockchain technology and Waltonchain’s recent progress. Ms. Zhai Jin said: “If we look back to the development of the Internet, we know that the Internet technology emerged around 1995, and its earliest application was the Internet’s native application — a portal site. It wasn’t until 2012 that the “Internet + industry” gradually developed. Blockchain is still long away from large-scale industrial application, but it is believed that 2018 will be the year for its accelerated application.” Later, she also presented the characteristics, advantages, applications and prospects of Waltonchain in detail to the audience. Through the explanation of Ms. Zhai Jin, the audience had a better understanding of Waltonchain.
Later, Freyrchain Director of Operations Mr. Tang Bo took the stage to introduce Waltonchain’s first child chain, Freyrchain, as the world’s first blockchain-based collectibles data authenticity platform. He explained how Freyrchain plans to solve the pain points of the current market, presented the project’s advantages and development prospects, and introduced the current partners in project application. The present guests showed strong interest to Mr. Tang’s speech.
Further, WTC Wallet Customer Executive Ángel presented the general information on WTC token and the usage of WTC wallets to the audience. A Q&A session was held to answer the wallet and mining-related questions from the guests.
