2019 Waltonchain Community Excellence Awards
Since the establishment of the Waltonchain project in 2017, Waltonchain community has been a crucial part in its daily development. Supporters from around the world have gathered to join our community, get to know our project, discuss Waltonchain’s daily progress and celebrate our improvements. You are part of our journey towards the bright future of the Value Internet of Things. You have grown yourselves into Waltonchain believers from crypto enthusiasts.
2019 Waltonchain Community Excellence Awards give our community a chance to celebrate individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference.
The Awards recognize Waltonchain community members according to their community contribution, community management, awareness promotion and community expansion.
Waltonchain team will collect nominations for each award via Google Forms and determine the finalists. Finalists will be announced for community voting. Vote winners will receive the awards.
Winners and finalists will be promoted on Waltonchain’s website and other official media, and may also perform self-promotion in other media.

The Waltonchain Community Outstanding Leader Award will acknowledge individuals who are proven leaders and invaluable members of the Waltonchain community. (5 winners out of max. 10 finalists)

Waltonchain Community Content Creator of the Year Award
The Waltonchain Community Content Creator of the Year Award is designed to recognize individuals who create content for Waltonchain, including media reports, Medium articles and Twitter posts. (5 winners out of max. 10 finalists)
5 Winners: 200 WTC + certificate
Max. 5 Finalist Awards: 50 WTC + certificate
Waltonchain Community Educator of the Year Award
The Waltonchain Community Educator of the Year Award aims to recognize individuals who take the initiative to build our Reddit community, who volunteered to educate newcomers of our project. (5 winners out of max. 10 finalists)
5 Winners: 150 WTC + certificate
Max. 5 Finalist Awards: 50 WTC + certificate
Waltonchain Community Advocate of the Year Award (5 winners out of max. 10 finalists)
The Waltonchain Community Advocate of the Year Award recognizes individuals who volunteered to promote awareness of the Waltonchain project in Twitter community.
5 Winners: 150 WTC + certificate
Max. 5 Finalist Awards: 50 WTC + certificate
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees in all categories must be individuals from official Waltonchain communities including Twitter, Telegram, Reddit or Slack (before Oct. 31, 2018), YouTubers or 3rd party media outlet authors. Please note that an entry may be deemed void if Waltonchain team considers it inapplicable for the category selected by the nominator.
Nomination Procedure
To nominate an individual for an award, please complete the nomination form (refer to the link at the bottom) and submit all the requested information before Mar 8, 2019.
Finalists will be announced before Mar 12, 2019. The voting period to determine the winners will be 2 weeks after the finalist announcement and will end at 00:00 on Mar 26, 2018 (UTC+8).
Award winners will be announced on Mar 28, 2018.
We encourage self-nomination. One community member can participate in maximum 2 awards. If a nominee is nominated for more than 2 awards, the 2 nominations with the highest votes prevail.
